This week to tie in with Heritage Weekend, the Gallery at the Town Hall will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am until 4 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to see parts of our historic Town Hall building that are not usually open to the public and to meet some of our Town Councillors and officers. The Saturday Gallery will be a year old this week and to celebrate, the art display will include contributions from artists who have exhibited throughout the year. Read more

Art at the Town Hall

Something different this week. Sandra Pearce began painting on china and porcelain in 1986. Through contact with some of the great artists who worked for world-famous companies such as Royal Worcester, Royal Doulton, Crown Derby and Minton, and painters from America and Europe, she increased her knowledge of the art and enhanced her skills.
